    Mendocino Land Trust

Driving along Highway 1 is a great way to see the rugged landscape of the Mendocino coast, but chances are you are passing by beautiful hidden coastal trails or secret pocket beaches on your way.

Whether you are looking for a great place to stop for lunch or a hike with fantastic views, there are countless adventures to be had at the parks, trails, and beaches of northern California, and the views are much better from outside of the car. Dramatic cliffs, coastal blufftop prairies, and pounding ocean surf draw visitors from around the world. However, the pristine remoteness of the area means that cell service is not always reliable. That is why the Mendocino Land Trust, with support from the California Coastal Conservancy, has created a free web-based Trail Guide which offers downloadable content. Now you can have access to detailed maps and directions, even without service.

For more than 40 years, the Mendocino Land Trust has been conserving land and building trails for the public to enjoy so that everyone can have access to the coast.
