  • Profile

Harmonique makes three different styles of gracefully aged Anderson Valley Pinot Noir wines and a Un-Oaked Chardonnay. A partnership between Bruce and Moira Conzelman and winemaker Robert Klindt, the name Harmonique recognizes a desire to create wines that harmonize with many foods and evoke a sense of their Burgundian heritage.

Most of the grapes for Harmonique wines come from well-drained hillside vineyards located at the extreme western end of the Anderson Valley in Mendocino County, known locally as the “deep end.” An ideal location and climate for growing these classic varietals, it is the coolest and most fog prone portion of the entire appellation. This weather results in a Diurnal Effect, believed to add complexity to the wine.

Burgundian-Style Wines Aged to Perfection. The wines are released only when they have reached a prime level of maturity and are ready to be enjoyed in all their elegance and complexity, which some might view as library wines. These are wines that compare favorably with French Burgundies and have graced the wine lists of restaurants such as JeanGeorges, Daniel Boulud and Per Se in New York and Jardinière in San Francisco.
